Amenities coming soon to Seneca Bus Stop

In September, CAT Bus riders get a new stop in downtown Seneca complete with restrooms and covered seating. Sherman Construction began work on the new amenities in March; however, the project was briefly delayed, but Seneca Mayor Dan Alexander says work is almost complete at the stop along Railroad Street. “It has taken a while to get to here, we got started and then delayed because the material wasn’t there but we wanted it all to blend in, the rock work and the wood work. People will be able to get out from the weather a little bit and have a place to sit, so it will be a lot better than what we have had there.” The new downtown bus stop serves riders during the hours of CAT Bus service from 6:20am to 6:20pm.
