Crimestoppers of OC receives Donation from BASF

Crimestoppers of Oconee County, Inc. and the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office announce a recent donation made to the Crimestoppers Organization by BASF Corporation. The $500 donation will go into the Crimestoppers general account fund, which will be used to pay rewards for tips that are called into Crimestoppers that lead to arrests in Oconee County and for the purchase of promotional materials. The donation was made from the BASF donation fund. “We are so thankful to all industry, businesses, organizations and individuals who continue to support the Crimestoppers program,” says Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Jimmy Watt, who is the Sheriff’s Office Coordinator for Crimestoppers. “We are extremely grateful for this donation and the continued support of BASF Corporation. Crimestoppers is a non-profit organization and without donations and support for our yearly fundraisers, law enforcement would be without this important tool to help solve crimes right here in Oconee County. When your support Crimestoppers, you are supporting the men and women of law enforcement all across Oconee County and with this donation, BASF Corporation has demonstrated that they support all law enforcement right here at home.” The recent donation marks the third consecutive year that BASF Corporation has made a donation to the Oconee County Crimestoppers program.
