Gamecocks are Bowl Bound

With a 6-6 record, the South Carolina Gamecocks are bowl bound. The Gamecocks will play in the Birmingham Bowl against South Florida on Dec. 29, 2016. The game kicks off at 2pm. It’s the second Birmingham Bowl appearance for both teams. To become bowl eligible, the Gamecocks won four of their final six games under first-year coach Will Muschamp.
