Help sought solving recent larceny from Walmart

June 15th Walmart Larceny Picture TwoThe Oconee County Sheriff’s Office seeks the public’s help regarding a recent larceny from the Walmart in Seneca and identifying a male in relation to the case. A deputy spoke with an employee of the store on Sandifer Boulevard in Seneca, on June 15 in regards to a larceny of money. According to the employee, a Hispanic male went to a checkout line with a male juvenile and asked to get $700 in quarters. Once the cashier was counting out the money, the individual changed his mind, asked for different amounts, and continued to do that for a few minutes. Each time, the male would gather the money and recount it. The cashier’s drawer came up short after being counted after the transactions took place.
