Help sought solving Stolen Utility Trailer Case in OC

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help today in its investigation into the theft of a stolen utility trailer. A deputy from the Uniform Patrol Division spoke with the victim on May 15, 2017, in regards to the theft of a 6×12 white in color enclosed utility trailer that was taken from an address on South Union Road in Westminster. The case was turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division and the investigator in the case did obtain the VIN number for the trailer. The trailer is made by Continental and does have back and side doors. Based upon information that has been provided so far, the investigator believes that trailer was taken sometime around April 28, or 29. The information on the trailer has been entered into the National Crime Information Center database. If you have any information regarding the theft of this utility trailer, you are asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC or 864-638-STOP. You don’t have to give your name when you called Crimestoppers and all information given is confidential. If your tip leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
