Mountain Lakes CVB releases Fall/Winter 2015 Visitors Guide

Fall is fast approaching and the Mountain Lakes Convention and Visitors Bureau is ready with the release of the Fall/Winter 2015 Visitors Guide to Oconee County. “When we first started the CVB, we printed 25,000 copies of this Visitors Guide. We did not put a date on it because we were not sure what the lifecycle would be for that. It took us about 18 months to get ride of 25,000; now we are doing 65,000 a year. We do a Spring/Summer and a Fall/Winter edition; it’s like the number one Visitors Guide going out of our Welcome Centers in South Carolina.” Mountain Lakes CVB President and CEO Ken Sloan continues about the Fall/Winter 2015 Visitors Guide to Oconee County. “Charlotte Waters is responsible for that book, she does a tremendous job with it. She spends two or three months before it is supposed to be released making sure all the data is accurate. She also works very closely with the Journal staff. Again, if you do not have a copy, if you are not a Journal subscriber, stop by our office in Walhalla and pick one up, it’s free.” The Mountain Lakes Convention and Visitors Bureau is located at 105 West South Broad Street in downtown Walhalla.
