OC Sheriff’s Office seeks help regarding January 2017 Vandalism

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office seeks the public’s help in regards to a January 2017 vandalism that occurred at the Seneca Walmart. The Sheriff’s Office is also seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual in relation to the case that deputies would like to speak with. A deputy responded to the Sandifer Boulevard location during the early afternoon hours of Jan. 20, in regards to reports of a vandalism to a vehicle in which the victim discovered scratches on both sides of the victim’s 2016 Nissan NV 3500 van and according to the victim, it appeared that someone had keyed the van. The deputy met with an employee of the store and observed a video in which a four door car pulled in and parked just before the victim’s vehicle was parked. After the victim entered the store, the deputy observed an older white female take a shopping cart and walked toward the van and then walked completely around the van and then entered the store. The victim told the deputy that reportedly there was an incident with an older white female with short white hair prior to her arriving at Walmart in which while driving on Sandifer Boulevard, the female subject honked her horn at the victim. The victim was able to give the deputy the same description of the female in the video.
