OCPL announces annual Food for Fines

Starting Dec. 1, the Oconee County Public Library collects canned and non-perishable food items in place of fines. Patrons may bring canned goods to forgive up to $5 in fines per account during the month of December. Food items will not replace fees for lost or damaged materials. Patrons may bring these to any branch. All food items collected go to local food banks or shelters in Oconee County.
