OEA announces Speaker for September Business Forum

Oconee Economic Alliance (OEA) executive director Richard Blackwell announces the speaker for the September Business Forum. “It will feature Brad Schneider, the CEO Executive Director and Senior Vice President of the Appalachian Development Corporation (ADC). The ADC has been a technical assistance and lending partner to businesses located in Upstate South Carolina since 1982. The ADC was organized primarily for the purpose of furthering economic development, job creation and retention and financially assisting in the growth and development of business concerns in six counties of Upstate South Carolina. Make plans to come and learn more about “who” the ADC is, how it helps Oconee businesses and learn more about their business financing practices.” The Oconee Economic Alliance Business Forum is a monthly opportunity for citizens and business leaders to come together in Oconee County to network, receive timely updates on topics facing the community and discuss ways to work together in making Oconee County a better place. The forum begins at 8am on Sept. 8, 2016 and the public is encouraged to attend this free event at Thrift Development located at 180 Bountyland Road in Seneca.
