Seasonal Flu Clinics

With the fall season comes the flu and right now the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control is holding flu clinics in the Upstate to vaccinate residents against the flu. Those seeking a flu shot in Oconee County should call 864-882-2245, Monday through Friday from 8:30am and 4:15pm to schedule an appointment at the Health Department located at 609 North Townville Street in Seneca. Pickens County residents should call 864-898-8019 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Fridays between 8:30am and 4pm to schedule an appointment at the Pickens Health Department, which is located at 200 McDaniel Avenue in Pickens. In Anderson County, people should call 864-260-5541 for an appointment at the McGee Road Health Department, Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:15pm. Flu shots are given by appointment only. The cost of the seasonal flu shot is $25. DHEC says don’t let cost prevent you from seeking your flu shot, ask how they can help.
