Seneca 8U Team advances to State Baseball Tournament

It took two games Wednesday to decide the Dixie League District 1 eight and under (8U) Coaches Pitch Baseball Championships. The Greer Nationals won the championship after beating the Seneca team twice on an extremely hot evening at the Shaver Recreation Complex in Seneca. However, both teams advance to the state tournament in Florence, S.C. that begins on July 9. Best of luck to the Seneca 8U Team as they compete next month for the state title.
