Westminster Library to close May 2 for installation of New Door

The Westminster Branch of the Oconee County Public Library closes on Monday, May 2, for installation of automatic sliding doors. This follows the successful installation of similar doors at the Seneca and Walhalla Libraries in an effort to make the libraries more accessible, said Branch Services Librarian Blair Hinson. These and other recent improvement projects were funded by a special allocation from the Oconee County Council. While the library closes to the public all day on Monday, May 2, The Cookbook Club program, scheduled for 6pm, will proceed as planned.
