2013 SAT Scores released
SAT scores were released for graduating seniors, and scores were up slightly across South Carolina. Graduating seniors in the School District of Oconee County mirrored this trend. Mean score performance in SDOC exceeded state performance in all areas.

Mean SAT scores for 2013 Oconee County seniors were up slightly over 2012 scores. Scores in critical reading and writing were up, while math scores decreased slightly. Overall, the district composite score rose by 7 points. The School District of Oconee County ranked 14th out of the school districts in South Carolina – up from 19th a year ago.

Seneca High and Walhalla High exceeded the state averages in all areas of the exam. Walhalla High also exceeded the national averages in all areas. Tamassee-Salem’s scores are not reported because less than 10 students participated in the exam.
