30 Candidates apply to be next West-Oak High Football Coach

The search for a new head football coach at West-Oak High School is going well with many people applying for the position. Oconee County Schools Superintendent Dr. Michael Thorsland gives an update on the search process. “Well it was certainly complicated a little bit when Principal Kurt Kreuzberger announced his retirement but we do have a team of people that are looking at applicants. We have a significant number of applicants, probably 30 plus right now, so we are really excited about that and the interest that the job has generated. We’re going to have the best person we can possibly find.” The School District of Oconee County hopes to name a new football coach at West-Oak High School soon.
