Contract Construction Names West-Oak Senior Daniel Leopard As Student Of The Month

Earlier this week on the Coffee Time program, West-Oak senior Daniel Leopard was recognized as the Contract Construction Student Of The Month. This has been a regular feature on the Coffee Time program for the last several months and Dr. Meghan Ketterman, who is the Director of Business Development for Contract Construction, talks about the genesis of the Student of the Month program and the reasons for the programs inception.

Dr. Meghan Ketterman, who is the Director of Business Development for Contract Construction, says that the leaders in Contract Construction came up with the idea for the program since the company is involved in school construction projects. It is because of this that the company understands the need for quality construction workers and the program is one to help to build the pipeline starting with classrooms they are building and the students who are possibly at construction as a professional career. Dr. Ketterman says they wanted to build a program in Oconee County because of the phenominal construction programs in the County and as a way to honor those students in the programs who may want to go into Construction.

The Contract Construction Student of the Month segments airs at 9 am on Coffee Time on the last Monday of the month.
