Murder Defendant scheduled to stand Trial

A young man charged with murder in a stabbing death in Walhalla nearly three years ago is scheduled to stand trial during a week of General Sessions Court this month at the courthouse. The office of the 10th Circuit Solicitor has placed the case against Kenneth Strother Collins atop the docket for court the week of Oct. 16-20, with Judge Scott Sprouse presiding. The police say they arrested Collins and two other people at the scene of Jeremy Lee Little’s homicide on North Laurel Street in January of 2013.
