Seneca Bypass scheduled for Repairs

South Carolina has released the list for road improvement projects for 2018 and two of those are in the City of Seneca including Bypass 123. Roughly two miles of Highway 123, from Walnut Street to West North 1st Street is to be repaved. In addition, nearly one mile of South 4th Street and 3.5 miles of US 123 between Westminster and the Georgia state line are scheduled for repair work. Ahead of committing state and federal funds for the work, the public has a chance to make comments that are to be provided to the state DOT Commission before final decisions are made. The public can comment on the proposed projects now through Oct. 17, at either the DOT offices in Columbia or the ACOG offices in Greenville.
