Identity released in Fatal Traffic Collision in Seneca

The identity of the 18-year-old York County man who died Thursday night, Oct. 12, at the scene of a motor vehicle collision in Seneca has been released. Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis reports that Dalton Bryce Evans of Fort Mill, South Carolina, was ejected from a Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck that overturned after he lost control just before 11pm on Shiloh Road, just east of Seneca near Clay Drive. Addis says that he died at the scene from head trauma. Evans was attending school at Tri County Technical College in Pendleton. So far this year there have been 13 traffic fatalities in Oconee County, according to the South Carolina Department of Public Safety. Last year at this same time there were only ten traffic fatalities in Oconee County.
