Westminster Woman arrested after Two Separate Investigations

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Westminster woman on charges related to two separate investigations, reports Public Information Officer Jimmy Watt. “23-year-old Tiffany Dawn Forshee of Cooke Drive was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center around 6:24pm by a deputy from the Warrants Division after being transferred from the Pickens County Detention Center to the Oconee County Detention Center. Forshee has been charged with one count of possession of a stolen vehicle as the result of evidence gathered in an investigation into the theft of a black 2017 Harley Davidson Iron 833 Sportster that occurred at a separate address on Cooke Drive that was reported to the Sheriff’s Office on Sept. 2. The motorcycle was located by investigators on Oct. 10, at an address on Shady Lane in a building on the property after the execution of a search warrant. Forshee is the third person charged in this investigation. Also charged in the same investigation with one count each of possession of a stolen vehicle is 45-year-old Brantley Keith Black of the Shady Lane address and 23-year-old William Grover Bearden of the same Cooke Drive address as Forshee. Both Black and Bearden remain in custody at the Oconee County Detention Center at this time. Forshee has also been charged with one count of petit larceny in relation to a separate investigation that began on Oct. 11, when a deputy from the Uniform Patrol Division responded to an address on Bypass 123 in Seneca in reference to a trailer that had been stolen. According to the victim, the trailer, with a value of around $1,600, had been stolen Oct. 8, and had been recovered in Pickens County on Oct. 11. The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office made contact with the suspects, Forshee and 25-year-old Joshua Michael Poole, and located the trailer as well. Poole, of the same Cooke Drive address as Forshee and Bearden, was transported to the Pickens-Oconee county line on Oct. 11, where custody was transferred to the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office due to outstanding warrants in Oconee County in regards to a separate case. Poole remains in custody at the Oconee County Detention Center. Forshee remains in custody at the Oconee County Detention Center after receiving a $5,000 surety bond on the petit larceny charge.” In addition, Forshee is awaiting bond to be set for the possession of a stolen vehicle charge.
