OCPL Friends install Little Free Library at South Cove Park

The Friends of the Oconee County Public Library (OCPL) have installed another Little Free Library, this one at South Cove County Park. They will maintain this Little Free Library with books from the large amount of donations that the libraries receive every year. The unit itself was created by students at West-Oak High School. Little Free Libraries are a nationwide phenomenon where users can take a book and are encouraged to leave a book, all free of charge. No library card is needed. The Friends maintain four other Little Free Libraries: Long Creek Post Office, Fair Play Presbyterian Church, Lake Hartwell State Park, and West-Oak High School.
