Three Weather Events recorded in October for OC

Three noteworthy weather events were recorded in October by Official U.S. Weather Observer Barbara Wilson from her weather station in Walhalla. “Here at Walhalla we had three major rain events for a total of 11 inches. We started out sort of warm with 79 degrees and it went to as far as 86 degrees by mid-month and then it went down to 32 degrees on Oct. 26. Since then our lows have been in the high 30s or 40s. And this rain event that we had 11 inches is the most we have had this year so far.”
Rainfall amounts and temperature readings may differ where you live; Wilson recorded these figures from her weather station in Walhalla, which is about one-mile from the county seat.
