Seneca Man sentenced to 7 Years for trafficking in Meth

A Seneca man will spend the next seven years behind bars after pleading guilty on Wednesday to multiple counts of trafficking in methamphetamine. Judge Cordell Maddox sentenced James Louis Gill as one of 16 defendants in what a state’s attorney called a major methamphetamine case in 2013. In addition, Gill will be placed under two years house arrest once he completes his prison term to satisfy the distribution charges. The charges resulted from indictments by the statewide grand jury. Other co-defendants received sentences from 15 months to 10 years.
