Table Rock Mountain Fire One Year Later

One year ago today, Nov. 9, 2016, is the anniversary of a wild fire that burned more than 10,000 acres of mountain forest in Pickens County. The Table Rock Mountain fire was the largest, longest, and costliest of its kind in the Upstate’s history. The South Carolina Forestry Commission is calling attention to what happened. The fire threatened homes across the state line in North Carolina.
