Repairs underway at Seneca City Hall

If you have driven by Seneca City Hall on 1st Street you have seen equipment digging around the entrance. This work is being done to repair a leak in the basement of the building, explains Seneca Planning and Community Development Director Ed Halbig. “They found that some conduits that were coming into the building was leaking and we had to uncover it and repair it, so that we could prevent the leak from continuing.” Halbig gives a timetable on the repairs. “We’ve predicted about three weeks of time for the repairs to be done.” The leak was discovered Halloween night, so repairs are anticipated to be complete on Tuesday, Nov. 21.
