Annual New Toy and Clothing Drive underway in Seneca

The City of Seneca announces that the annual new toy and clothing drive in partnership with Celebrate Christmas with a Hero is now underway. Items may be dropped off at Seneca City Hall until Dec. 18, 2017. Celebrate Christmas with a Hero, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit in which volunteers shop in advance for the children by purchasing items from Oconee County retailers in an effort to keep revenue in the community. The children are screened by an established protocol and are referred through private, governmental, clergy affiliates, and others that are aware of needs. Celebrate Christmas with a Hero hands out gifts to include needs and wants from the child’s wish list around Christmas. A tax letter can be prepared upon request for donations.
