Two SHS Softball Players sign Letters of Intent

Two members of the Seneca High School Lady Cats Softball Team signed letters of intent Monday afternoon to continue their education and softball careers. Infielder Jasmine Morse signed with Erskine College and infielder Destiny Poole signed with Fayetteville State University. As a junior, Morse hit .457 with 39 RBIs and 4 Homeruns. She had a .955 fielding percentage anchoring the right side of the infield at first base. During her junior summer season, Poole hit .392 with 2 home runs and 16 RBIs. She had a fielding percentage of .943. Coach Rick Pate said “”The softball coaching staff is very proud of Jasmine and Destiny. We’ve witnessed firsthand how hard they’ve worked to reach the goal of playing softball after high school. These two young ladies can instantly light up a dugout with both their personalities and their athletic ability, and I’m sure they will carry that on to their future teams. We look forward to seeing them represent our program one last season.”
