PC Humane Society launches GoFundMe Fundraiser

An Upstate no-kill shelter that recently lost funding is hoping for a Christmas miracle. The Pickens County Humane Society (PCHS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization chartered for the prevention of animal cruelty in Liberty. In order to save the shelter and save the animals, $70,000 needs to be raised by Dec. 31, 2017. So far, the shelter has raised $32,445 towards its goal. PCHS has spared and improved the lives of thousands of lost and thrown away animals over the past 46 years. In turn, thousands of Upstate residents have experienced the love, companionship, and joy of animals. You can help keep the shelter open by making a $20 tax-deductible donation on their GoFundMe account.
