Foothills Chorale to present Handel’s “Messiah”

Celebrating its 26th season, the Foothills Chorale, under new director Justin Durham, presents Handel’s “Messiah” at 3pm on Sunday, Dec. 10. It takes place in the beautiful sanctuary of Trinity Baptist Church at 504 South Oak Street in Seneca. Among the selections you will hear this year are “Comfort Ye My People”, “O Thou that tellest Good Tidings to Zion”, “The Trumpet Shall Sound”, “And the Glory of the Lord, “For unto us a Child is Born”, “Hallelelujah!”, “Worthy is the Lamb” and many more. A highlight of this special concert are the 10-piece chamber orchestra, organ and six soloists. Tickets are $20 with students admitted for $10.
