Fugitive from Justice arrested in Tamassee

A fugitive from justice was arrested this week in Oconee County. A deputy of the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious persons on the grounds of the Wood Bridge Behavioral Group Home for female adolescents on White Rock Road in Tamassee. After running an identity check on the man, the deputy started to arrest 34-year-old Al Lido Lococo of Mountain City, Georgia, but he swung at the deputy and the two wrestled on the ground before the deputy was able to handcuff him. Lococo now stands charged with resisting arrest and being a fugitive from justice.
