Help sought identifying Walmart Shoplifting Suspect

Crimestoppers of Oconee County, Inc. in partnership with the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office seeks the public’s help regarding an investigation into a recent shoplifting at the Seneca Walmart, explains Public Information Officer Jimmy Watt. “A deputy from the Uniform Patrol Division responded to the store address on Sandifer Boulevard the afternoon of Saturday, Dec. 9, in regards to the reported shoplifting. An employee told the deputy that a white female wearing a gray shirt and legging entered the store with a black female and began looking at items. The employee told the deputy that the black female exited the store after paying for her items; however, the white female did not pay for the items she selected. The employee met the female at one of the exits of the store in regards to producing a receipt. The female then makes an action that makes it appears that she is looking for a receipt but then takes off and runs into the parking lot and was not located afterwards. The items that the subject shoplifted were all recovered and included, among other things, various make-up and houseware products. All of the products were valued at around $806.36.” If you have any information on the identity of the individual the Sheriff’s Office is seeking to identify in relation to this case, you are asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
