Girl Scout Survivor Camp at “AG” Museum

On Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, the Agricultural Museum of South Carolina is offering a Girl Scout (Junior and Cadette) only Survivor Day Camp. Camp runs from 10am until 3pm and costs $25 per Girl Scout or $20 each for two or more Scouts in the same family. This price includes the First Aid Badge which Scouts will receive upon completion of the camp. Activities include, but, are not limited to: basic first aid; Morse Code; knot tying; fire building; compass reading; learning directions from nature; shelter building; aerial signals; and map reading. The Bart Garrison Agricultural Museum of South Carolina is located at 120 History Lane in Pendleton, off Highway 76, directly across from Tri-County Technical College. Regular museum hours are Thursdays and Fridays, noon until 5pm, and Saturdays, 10am until 3pm. Admission is free, though donations are appreciated. For a small fee, group and school tours are available, anytime, with advance notice.
