Eighteenth “Operation Infinity” Drug Sweep Round-Up

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office announces that the eighteenth “Operation Infinity” drug sweep round-up began Monday morning. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office teamed up with law enforcement partners from the Walhalla and Westminster Police Departments. In all, 21 individuals are being sought on a variety of drug charges involving distribution of methamphetamine, marijuana, heroin, crack cocaine and prescription drugs. So far, eight individuals had been arrested or were already in jail and have been served their warrants. The individuals arrested were 54-year-old David Allen Wallace of Seneca for three counts of distribution of Crank, second offense; 35-year-old Michelle Elizabeth Thrift (Elgin) of Seneca for distribution of Crank, first offense; 50-year-old Darrell Todd Wilson of Salem for distribution of Crank, second offense; 57-year-old Angela Gregory Garrett of Seneca for distribution of Crack Cocaine, first offense; 46-year-old Bobby Jay Eugene Shead of Seneca for distribution of Ice, third or subsequent offense; 28-year-old Derek Lee Williams of Seneca for distribution of Marijuana, first offense; 34-year-old Jonathan David Smith of Westminster for two counts of distribution of Ice, third or subsequent offense; and 26-year-old Nathan Ashley Neal of Walhalla for two counts of distribution of Ice, third or subsequent offense. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing their investigation and due to that fact, the names of the other individuals being sought will not be released at this time.
