Roadwork underway near Westminster

Roadwork is underway on a highway improvement project near Westminster. With a $1 million contract from the state, King Asphalt of Liberty is patching of a section of Highway 123, from Barron’s Antiques to Orchard Park Elementary School. Weather permitting, the full-depth patching will take one week. But that’s not all that will be done there. Crews return in the spring to add markings, traffic signs, and guardrail, among other improvements. Motorists are requested to be careful in the vicinity of workers, trucks, and equipment. At all times, one lane of the two-lane highway will remain open.
