Co-Conspirator sentenced for Six Armed Robberies

United States Attorney Beth Drake stated today that 40-year-old Delmar Deshion Jackson of Greenville was sentenced, in federal court in Greenville, for six armed robberies. United States District Judge Henry M. Herlong, of Greenville, varied upward from the sentence recommendation of the United States Sentencing Guidelines Manual to sentence Jackson to 149 months imprisonment and three years of supervised release. Evidence presented at the change of plea hearing established that Jackson conspired with a Demiriao Trione Bonds, on Oct. 26, 2015, and Nov. 8, 13, 17, 25, and 26, 2015, to rob six area businesses. Jackson drove Bonds to and from all six establishments and provided Bonds with a firearm. Bonds committed five of the robberies with a firearm, which he brandished during the course of each, and represented the possession and use of a firearm during the sixth robbery. Bonds took from the targeted businesses cash, retail inventory, personal effects, and store cellular devices, which were divided between the conspirators. The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Explosives, and Firearms working in conjunction with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office. Assistant United States Attorney D. Josev Brewer of the Greenville office handled the case.
