Seneca Police arrest Wanted Man

Seneca Patrol Officers responding to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle, conducted a traffic stop netting a suspected drug trafficker with ties to a Mexican drug cartel. Mickey Cox was being sought by the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office on various illegal drug charges. Cox, along with Terry Allen Langston, were found to be in possession of one pound of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and several handguns. One on the guns was reported as stolen. The estimated street value of the seized drugs is approximately $40,000. Both Cox and Langston face multiple charges as a result of the traffic stop. This seizure marks a significant amount of illegal drugs that will not be sold in the community, says Seneca Police Chief John Covington.
