Seneca Police bust Heroin Distributor

On Monday, officers of the Seneca Police Department executed a search warrant at an apartment on West South 4th Street pursuant to a narcotics investigation. For several weeks the Narcotics Unit has conducted an undercover operation targeting the sale of heroin stemming from this residence. The tenant, Timothy Joshua Evans, was taken into custody on an arrest warrant for distribution of heroin. During the search of the residence, a quantity of marijuana, cocaine and drug paraphernalia were seized. More charges will be forthcoming against Evans as a result of the findings. Another person located in the residence at the time of the search was also arrested on unrelated outstanding warrants from the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office. The investigation remains ongoing.
