OMH to increase Doctor Training

On the drawing board at Oconee Memorial Hospital is a new building project. With the support of parent organization Greenville Health System, the hospital intends to put up a new building to increase the number of doctors to treat future generations. Hunter Kome, President and CEO of the Oconee Medical Campus, announced last night the new building will be situated between the main hospital and the Cancers Center. At present, Oconee Memorial Hospital is capable of training as many as five doctors at any one time. With the new building, it will be able to train up to 18.
