SDOC holds Parent Meeting to address Safety

The School District of Oconee County (SDOC) held its first parent meeting at Seneca High School Tuesday night to discuss how recent events, particularly school shootings, have affected their students. Parents were invited to an open question and answer session with school administration and school resource officers. Two more parent meetings are scheduled in the SDOC; Thursday, March 1, at Walhalla High School, and Monday, March 5, at West-Oak High School. Both meetings begin at 6pm and are open to the public.
