Finding Your Oconee Ancestors

The Oconee Heritage Center (OHC) hosts Genealogy in Oconee on Saturday, March 10, at 11am. This will be a fun event about finding your Oconee County ancestors, tells Jennifer Moss, Assistant Curator and Education Specialist at the OHC. “Celebrate National Genealogy Day by learning how you can research your Oconee County ancestors. Join Quientell Walker of the Oconee County Public Library and Leslie Hagerty of the OHC as they guide you through the many genealogical resources available in Oconee County. This program is free to attend.” This event is being sponsored and hosted by Oconee County Chamber of Commerce members, the OHC, and Oconee County Public Library.” It takes place at the OHC, which is located at 123 Brown’s Square Drive in Walhalla.
