OC Residents invited to join OLLI West

Oconee County residents are invited to join OLLI West. The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Clemson University, in collaboration with the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce, will host courses and activities at the Westminster Train Depot and Walhalla Depot beginning April 17, tells Julie Vidotto, Director of OLLI at Clemson. “OLLI at Clemson is a lifelong learning community, created so that Upstate adults can continue learning, debating, traveling together and exploring new ideas and topics. Each year, more than 250 unique programs provide opportunities to gain knowledge and expertise in a wide variety of academic and recreational pursuits. OLLI membership is open to anyone who wishes to experience the wide range of courses and activities it offers, and the organization is strongly member-driven and volunteer-led. But hopefully, this will make travel easier for potential members in the area. We are very excited to branch towards Westminster and Walhalla.” For more information, visit www.olliatclemson.org or call 864-633-5242.
