Everyone encouraged to Walk Today

Everyone is being encouraged to take a walk today, April 4. The first Wednesday in April is National Walking Day. The American Heart Association sponsors this day to remind people about the health benefits of taking a walk. It recommends taking thirty minutes out of your day to go for a walk. Started in 2007, National Walking Day is part of the American Heart Association’s efforts to promote healthy living. For more information, visit www.heart.org.
