Graham comments on 50th Anniversary of Dr. King’s death

U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) Wednesday, April 4, made this statement on the 50th anniversary of the assassination of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “Fifty years ago today, an assassin tried to silence the powerful message of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He failed. Dr. King’s life and teachings will survive throughout the ages. As long as mankind struggles for social justice, freedom, and nonviolence, Dr. King’s voice will be heard. He was truly one of the most gifted orators and writers in the history of our nation. Dr. King moved America in the right direction and made the ultimate sacrifice for the betterment of our nation.”
