Seneca Woman arrested for Drugs

A routine traffic stop this week landed a Seneca woman behind bars on multiple charges. Charged with giving false information to an officer, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and distribution of methamphetamine, second offense is 23-year-old Amber Katlin Boylston. A deputy with the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in which Boylston was a passenger and she told the deputy that her name was Angela. After learning the correct name, Boylston was arrested on an outstanding warrant. She was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center and a personal recognizance bond of $250 was set against her for the giving false information charge and a combined $73,000 surety bond was set against her on the other charges.
