Cobb pleads to Reduced Charge in Walhalla Homicide

A guilty plea to obstruction of justice, means Andy Steve Cobb will serve up to six years under the Youthful Offender’s Act, suspended to two years probation. He was originally charged with accessory after the fact, in the homicide of 27-year old Jeremy Lee Little more than three years ago in Walhalla. On Wednesday, Cobb plead guilty to the reduced charge. Tenth Circuit Deputy Solicitor Lindsey Simmons said Cobb fully cooperated and testified against Kenneth Strother Collins during the October 2017 trial. A jury found Collins guilty of murder, kidnapping, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. He was sentenced to 50 years in prison. Cobb was 18 when Little was stabbed to death. Simmons said that Cobb hid from police in the attic at the murder scene and his failure was not telling police right away what had happened. Additional conditions of Cobb’s sentence are random drug and alcohol testing and a directive that he pursues the equivalent of a high school diploma.
