Westminster mourning the loss of Baseball Star

The City of Westminster is mourning the loss of a former Major League Baseball player. Sandifer Funeral Home announces there will be a private family service for Marvin “Marv” Rackley, who played for the Brooklyn Dodgers in the late 1940s and was a teammate of Jackie Robinson during 1947, the year that Robinson broke baseball’s color barrier. Rackley was 67-years-old.
