No Word Yet on New Seneca City Administrator

There is no word yet on a new Seneca City Administrator. On June 30, Greg Dietterick retires after over 20 years serving the city in its top position. Tuesday night, the Seneca City Council heard from Mayor Dan Alexander that an announcement should be coming soon. “I didn’t get some information back yet, so in the next few days I will be calling the council back together again to review a proposed contract that I am working on with the city attorney.” Twenty people applied for the position and the mayor recently announced that he had narrowed down that field to six candidates. Dietterick has told the mayor and city council that he will assist in the transition to his replacement.
