Clemson Professor invited to White House Summit

The executive director of South Carolina’s Coalition for Mathematics and Science in Clemson University’s College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences has been invited to attend a White House summit aimed at shaping federal support for education in the fast-growing fields of science, technology, engineering and math. Tom Peters will join more than 150 of his colleagues from states, territories and tribes across the country at the State-Federal STEM Summit, which runs June 25-26, and is hosted by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
