Woman arrested for trafficking in Methamphetamine
The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office recently arrested a Honea Path woman on a charge of trafficking in methamphetamine. Investigators executed a search warrant at an address on Greenfield Road and arrested 26-year-old Jessica Amanda Grant. While on scene, investigators also discovered 30-year-old Christopher Nicholas Elgin of Westminster, who had an outstanding warrant for breach of trust with fraudulent intent. He was taken into custody and later released from the Oconee County Detention Center on a $10,000 personal recognizance bond. Grant remains in custody awaiting a bond hearing.
