Friends of the OCPL install Little Free Library

The Friends of the Oconee County Public Library have installed a new Little Free Library at High Falls County Park near Seneca, SC. Little Free Libraries are based on the idea of take-a-book, leave-a-book, where one would not need a library card to check out a book, but is free to take a book or donate one to the unit. The newest unit is mounted at the park office on the outside of the building. The books will be supplied by users and by the Friends of the Library, and the unit will be stocked and maintained by the Friends of the Library. The Friends maintain five other Little Free Libraries in the county: West Oak High School, South Cove County Park, the Long Creek Post Office, Fair Play Presbyterian Church, and Lake Hartwell State Park.
