SDPC holding Summer Feeding Program 2018

The School District of Pickens County (SDPC) announces that the Summer Feeding Program is back this year. Free healthy meals are served to school age children 18 years or younger and persons 19 or older with physical or mental disability that are enrolled in school. Thus children get the food they need to learn, play, and grow when school is not in session. The SDPC’s 2018 Summer Feeding Program sites are: West End Elementary at 314 Pelzer Highway in Easley, Pickens Elementary at 567 Hampton Avenue in Pickens and Chastain Road Elementary at 940 Chastain Road in Liberty. Breakfast and lunch are served Monday through Friday from June 4, through Aug. 3, with the exception of July 4. Breakfast will be served from 7-9am and lunch will be served from 11am until 1pm.
